Willie “John” Russell Hall, 79, passed away on Tuesday, July 28th at his residence in Eden, NC.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, August 1st at 2:00pm in the Fair Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow immediately in the Ridgeview Cemetery.

John was born January 15, 1947, in Henry County, VA to the late John Howard Hall and Delia Stone Hall.

He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. John also loved taking trips to the mountains.

Surviving are his sons; Joseph “Joey” Hall, Johnny Hall both of Eden, NC. Bobby Hall of Milton FL.; sisters; Josephine Meeks and Inez Hardy (Jimmy) of Eden, NC., Dorothy Hardy and Kay Beck (Junior) of Danville, VA, Lois Delancey of Brosville, VA., brother Burton Hall (Vickie) of Brosville, VA

Willie had twelve grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert Hall, Richard Hall, Curtis (Bo) Hall; sisters, Myrtle Christine Hall, Thelma Hall, Maybel Bailey.
