William Walter Shields

William Walter Shields, 88, of Eden, passed away Monday, December 13, 2021, at his residence. 

Funeral Services are incomplete at this time. 

William was born December 30, 1932 in Rockingham County, NC. to the late English Walter and Mildred (Danaho) Shields.  He served his country in the U. S. Navy.  He loved old vehicles, animals and racing.  He enjoyed listening to country music. 

He is survived by son, William Timothy Shields of Eden; daughter, Tamera (Danny) Shields Wooten of Vandemere, NC; one granddaughter, Taryn Sierra Wooten of Boone, NC.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Clyde Alexander Shields.
