William Thomas Morton, Jr.

William Thomas "Tommy" Morton, Jr., 57, of Riverside Drive in Eden, passed away Thursday, June 28, 2018, at his home.

The family will receive friends on Monday evening, July 2, from 5 - 7 PM at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the residence.

William was born July 26, 1960 in Rockingham County, NC, to the late William Thomas Morton, Sr. and Earlene Landreth Morton.  He was a formerly employed by Frontier Spinning.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Dyer Morton of the home;  two step-children, Justin Jenkins and Charity Cooper, both of Reidsville;  four grandchildren, Aaron, Laura and Abby Cooper and William Jenkins;  sisters, Donna O'Neil, who is his twin, and her husband, Mark of Mayodan, Frances Vernon and husband, Randy of Belews Lake and Lucy Lawson and husband, Perry of Stoneville;  half-brother, William Wall of Madison;  and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Joretta Joyce.
