William Michael Wade

William “Mike” Michael Wade, 77, passed away Tuesday night, November 3, 2020, at Chatham Health & Rehabilitation Center in Chatham, VA.

There will be no formal service however, the family will receive friends at the home of Paul and Kelly Walker, 2052 Hill Creek Road, Dry Fork, VA 24549.

Mike was born May 16, 1943 in B. F. Wade and Virginia Williams Wade.  He retired from Mize Motors where he was the parts manager.  He loved reading, spending time with family and gardening.

In addition to his wife of 54 years, Peggy Carter Wade of the home, Mike is survived by his daughter, Kelly Wade Walker and husband, Paul; four grandchildren, Michael and Alex Wade, Journie and Jordan Walker; one great-grandchild, Aspenne Jones; and sisters, Carrie Hutcherson and husband, Garland and Sonja Hamric.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, William Michael Wade, Jr. and his brother, Benjamin F. Wade Jr.
