William Kenneth Tuck, 75, formerly of Eden, High Point, and more recently of Myrtle Beach, SC, passed away Friday, July 31, 2015, at his home.
A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Thursday, August 6, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. The Rockingham County Veteran's Honor Guard will perform military honors at the graveside.
Mr. Tuck was born January 6, 1940 in Danville, VA, to the late Benjamin Frank Tuck and Betty Lou Dixon Tuck. He was a US Army veteran and a retiree of Fieldcrest Mills. After his retirement he worked for the Eden City Schools in maintenance. Mr. Tuck was a member of Draper Christian Church. He loved people and always enjoyed carrying on a conversation with those he met.
He is survived by his wife, Joan Powell Tuck of the home; and his two sons, Kenneth Wayne Tuck of Myrtle Beach, SC and Tracy Lee Tuck of Panama City Beach, FL.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter, Deena Tuck Reedy and brothers, B. F., Earl, Fred, Jack and Bobby Ray Tuck.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Thursday (1 - 2 PM) at Fair Funeral Home.
