William "Jerry" Gerald Watkins

William "Jerry" Gerald Watkins, 71, of 422 Lake Street passed away Thursday, December 29, 2011 at his home. A graveside service will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, December 31, at Greenview Cemetery in Reidsville. Mr. Watkins was born October 16, 1940 in Rockingham County, son of the late William Jefferson Watkins and Catherine Baynes Watkins. He was a US Army veteran. In his spare time he enjoyed flower gardening and model trains. Surviving are his fiancee', Beth Evans of the home; and brother, Paul David Watkins.
