William Marvin Haynes

William “Marvin” Haynes, age 77 of Eden, NC passed away Friday, February 7th, 2025 at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro, NC. 

A Graveside Service will be held at 2pm Friday, February 14, 2025 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Reidsville. There will be no formal visitation per Marvin’s request.

Marvin was born December 6, 1947 to the late Joseph and Anna King Haynes in Rockingham County, NC. He was an avid horseman and farmer his whole life, as well as working at Mohawk Industries, Karastan Rug Mill, for 56 years where he was head loom fixer, among many other duties only he was qualified for.

Surviving him are his wife Toni Hutcherson Haynes of the home, son John Haynes and wife Angela of Eden, NC, daughter Angela Tuck of Reidsville, NC, brother Bryant Haynes and wife Elisa of Eden, NC, sisters Sara Mathis of Eden, NC and Anna Tuck and husband Brian of Ruffin, NC, numerous nieces and nephews as well many friends and relatives. Preceding him in death along with his parents is his grandson Fletcher Haynes.
