William Bradley "Brad" Wade

William Bradley "Brad" Wade, 63, of 606 John Street in Eden, went home to be with his Lord on Tuesday, February 21, 2012, at his home. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Friday, February 24, at Trinity Wesleyan Church at 186 East Aiken Road, Eden. Burial will follow in Overlook Cemetery. Brad was born July 20, 1948 in Leaksville, NC, son of the late Pete and Charlotte Hopper Wade. He was a Morehead High School graduate, class of 1966. Brad was a retired Patrol Lieutenant and 30 year veteran of the Eden Police Department. He was a long-standing member of Trinity Wesleyan Church. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Martha Hundley Wade of the home; daughter, Christi Wade Hart and husband, Jimmy; two sons, Joseph Wade and Bill Wade and wife, Jaime; grandchildren, Josh and Danielle Hart and Madison and Madilyn Wade; and sister, Cindy Wade Blackwell. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening, 6 - 8 PM at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the residence. Anyone wishing to make memorial contributions, they may be made to the Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge #5, Eden, NC, of which he was also a long-standing member.
