William "Bill" Warren Wright

William “Bill” Warren Wright, Sr., 82, passed away early Wednesday morning, May 19, 2021, at Annie Penn Hospital in Reidsville.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, May 22nd, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Ridgeview Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends Friday evening, 6 – 8 PM, at Fair Funeral Home and other times at his home, 360 Pine Road in Eden.

Born March 24, 1939 in Rockingham County, NC, Bill was the son of the late Warren Sherman Wright and Ellie Brightwell Wright.  He was a graduate of Morehead High School and was the retired owner and operator of Bill Wright Cabinet Shop.  Bill attended Immanuel Friends Church.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Peggy Wilson Wright, of the home; four sons, Billy Wright (Tammy) of Fuquay-Varina, Keith Wright of Reidsville, Brett Wright of Oak Island and Brian Wright (Renae) of Eden; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Florence Price, Arlene Roberts (Joe), Martha Wright and Louise Price (Phil), all of Eden; and sister-in-law, Frankie Wright.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Wright and sister, Brenda Moore.
