William "Bill" Andrew Habeski, Jr.

William “Bill” Andrew Habeski, Jr., 83, of Eden passed away Monday, April 24, 2023 at UNC Rockingham Rehabilitation and Nursing in Eden.

A graveside service will be held at 2pm Thursday, April 27, 2023 at Dan View Cemetery in Eden. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, from 1-1:45pm, at Fair Funeral Home in Eden.

Bill was born March 14, 1940 in Bristol, CT, to the late William A. Habeski, Sr., and Katherine Kucharski Habeski. He was a graduate of Bristol High School, class of 1959. He was a member of Meadow View United Methodist Church and a former member of River View Presbyterian Church. Bill worked as the Boiler Room Attendant at Karastan Rug Mill until retirement.

Surviving are his brother, David Habeski of Bristol, CT; sisters, Judy Morozuk, Jane Goodwin, Karen Conrad, all of Bristol, CT, and Ellen Jones of Arizona; nine nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Bill is preceded in death by his loving wife, Annette Thompson Habeski; brother, Kurt Habeski.
