William Andrew Webb, Sr.

William Andrew Webb, Sr., 89, passed away Saturday, September 23rd at his home in Stoneville, NC.

A funeral service will be held Friday, September 29th at 1:00pm at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow the service at Overlook Cemetery.

William was born April 3, 1934 in Rockingham Co. to the late Frank Nesbit Webb and Sallie May Patterson Webb.  He worked at Solite Rock Quarry for over 20 years.  He also worked for Duke Power for 22 years.  He loved to collect coins, mow his yard and work on classic cars. He especially loved spending time with his granddaughter. 

He is survived by his sons, William “Andrew” Webb, Jr. and Glenn Webb both of Stoneville; granddaughter, Kayla Grace Webb; brothers, Danny Webb of Stoneville, Rev. Charles Webb of Greensboro; sisters, Mary Fox of Danville, Patricia Walker of Stoneville.

Along with his parents, William was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Hodge Webb; sisters, Joan Evans, Revonda Jenkins, Janie Rierson; brothers, Frank Webb and James Webb.
