Wayne Samuel Wyatt

Wayne Samuel Wyatt, 75, of Eden, NC, passed on Friday, February 18, 2022, at UNC Rockingham Health Care in Eden, after a prolonged illness.

A funeral service will be held at 11am, Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel in Eden, with burial to follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Reidsville. A visitation will be held 5-7pm, Monday, February 21, 2022, at Fair Funeral Home.

Wayne was born May 2, 1946, in Rockingham County, NC, to the late Robert Lee Wyatt and Mary Belton Wyatt. Wayne loved his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. He also loved his family dearly. He attended Light House Full Gospel Church where he played the drums. He worked as a maintenance technician at Hanes Brands. Wayne loved his flowers and was a beekeeper.  He loved to go to Biscuitville every day and meet with his friends. Wayne enjoyed going to Emerald Isle Beach and camping with his family.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Kathy Dixon Wyatt; daughters, Sandy Carter (John), Amy Soyars (Jeffrey), Rebecca Priddy (Wesley); grandchildren, Hannah Connor (Martin), Bradley Soyars (Chelsea), Melanie Carter (Timothy Weadon), Megan Soyars, Katherine Milligan, Maggie Milligan; great-grandchild, River Soyars; aunt, Shirley Belton Carter; sister-in-laws, Faye Wyatt, Gloria Gauldin (Walter), Shirley Morris, Iris Dixon, Carolyn Hopkins, Janet Jones (Ronnie).

In addition to his parents, Wayne is preceded in death by his brothers, Elmo Wyatt and Donald Wyatt.
