Virginia Parker Troxler

Virginia Parker Troxler, 86 of 996 Ashley Loop, passed away on Monday morning, May 8, 2011 at Moses Cone Hospital. The funeral service will be held 11am Thursday at Fair Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Troxler was born March 1, 1925 to the late Thomas Parker and Sallie Davis Parker in Leaksville,NC and was of the Baptist faith. Virginia Troxler is survived by her husband John Linuel Troxler of 69 years of the home, one daughter; Dale Troxler Crowder and husband Eddie of Reidsville, two sons; Linuel Dennis Troxler and wife Reta and Larry Richard Troxler and wife Gail all of Reidsville, three grandchildren, Jason Brent Crowder and wife Dow of Raleigh, Darren Keith Troxler of Maryland, Ashley Troxler Clark and husband Eric of Greensboro, two great grandchildren, Macyn and Walker Clark, one brother; Clayzene "Curley" Parker of Eden. She and her husband loved camping and they were members of Eden Camping Club for years. They loved going to Florida during the cold months and met many wonderful friends. Mrs Troxler was a wonderful seamtress and made all of her daughers clothes until her declining health. She loved her family and friends and was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and a lifetime fan of the Atlanta Braves. Preceded her in death was her sister Francis Parker Madison, brothers, Bob , Curtis Haywood and Billy Parker. Family will receive friends from 6-8 Wednesday evening at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the home.
