Virginia H. Adams

Virginia “Tweet” H. Adams, 93, passed away on July 1, 2022 at the UNC Nursing Center in Eden, NC.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00pm, Sunday, July 3, 2022 at Lawson Cemetery.

Virginia was born May 1, 1929 to the late Charles W. Hudgins and Bessie French in Rockingham County.  She was a bookkeeper and proof reader for the Eden Daily News.  She also worked at the WLOE radio station and WSLS-TV in Roanoke, VA.  Virginia was an active member of Spray Baptist Church and enjoyed being a part of the Widows for Christ at her church.  She loved to travel and spend time with her family.

Left to cherish her memories is numerous cousins and her baby, Sidney Coleman.

In addition to her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Adams.

The family wants to give a special “Thank You” to Debbie Bolden and the staff on the South Hall at UNC Rockingham Nursing Center.
