Vilma Warf Ward

Vilma Warf Ward age 92 of 389 Perwinkle Road, Eden, passed away early Wednesday morning,  June 30, 2021 at her home.

A memorial service will be held 1 pm Saturday July 3, 2021 at Fellowship Baptist Church. The family will visit with friends one hour prior to the service.  Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens at a later date.

Mrs. Ward was born June 1, 1929 in Rockingham County to the late Troy Franklin Warf and Janie Alice Murray. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church and was formerly employed at Gravely Furniture Company and Ridgeway Clock.

She was preceded in death along with her parents by her husband, Gene E. Ward, Sr., son Gene E. Ward, Jr., and sister, Norine Pulliam.

Surviving are three children; Becky Hopper (David), Brian Ward (Sherron) and Tanya Isley; daughter-in-law, Karen Ward, all of Eden; grandchildren, Michele Archer, Michael Austin, Laura Easter and Tyler Ward; five great-grandchildren; sister, Rita Green and brother, Franklin Warf (Frances); along with numerous nieces and nephews.
