Vickie Lee Byrd

Vickie Lee Byrd, 70, of Eden, passed Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at her home.

A memorial service will be held 11am, Saturday, April 9, 2022, at Church of the Epiphany, 538 Henry St, Eden, NC 27288, with entombment to follow at the Church Columbarium. A visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service, 10-11am, at Church of the Epiphany.

Vickie was born November 18, 1951, in Martinsville, VA, to the late James Nolen Byrd and Sherlie Branch Shaw. She was a member of the 1970 graduating class of Fieldale High School in Collinsville, VA. Vickie was a member of Church of the Epiphany in Eden, NC. She worked as an electronics technician at AT&T. Vickie enjoyed sewing. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Brianna Fulp (Hunter); granddaughter, Kaylynn Fulp; brothers, Ken Byrd (Jackie), Dickie Byrd, Jay Byrd (Denise), Billy Byrd (Sherry); sister, Robin Byrd; uncles and aunt, Bobby Branch, Kathy Hall (Bill); niece, Lisa Herdon; nephew, Steven Byrd.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Wesleyan Education Center in her name, toward the purchase of new playground equipment.
