Vera Craig Moody

Vera Annabell Craig Moody, age 94 of Eden passed away on Saturday afternoon, April 18th 2020 at Riverside Health & Rehab in Danville, Va.

A graveside service will be held 1 pm Tuesday April 21, 2020 at Ridgeview Memorial Gardens in Eden.  Mrs. Moody will lie-in-state at Fair Funeral Home Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning, for anyone wishing to come by and pay their respects and sign the register book.

Vera was born January 24, 1926 in Draper (Eden), NC to the late James Watson Craig and Elsie Isley Craig.  She enjoyed attending her church and was a member of Schoolfield Baptist Church and a former member Spray Baptist Church. Vera enjoyed in her spare time going out to eat with her sisters and friends.  Mrs. Moody retired as a door greeter at the Eden Wal-Mart.

She was preceded in death along with her parents by her husband Lucian Moody; sisters, Harriet Franklin, Arline Gusler  and brothers, Don Craig, Dillard Craig and Durwood Craig.

Surviving are sisters, Janice Dishman of Danville and Delores West of Eden; numerous nieces and nephews.
