Troy Franklin Warf, Jr.

Troy Franklin Warf, Jr., 87, of Garrett Rd in Eden passed away Thursday, December 12th, at his home.

A graveside service will be held at 1pm Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at Ridgeview Memorial Gardens. Military Honors will be given by Rockingham County Veterans Honor Guard. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, from 12-12:45pm, at Fair Funeral Home. Franklin will lie-in-repose Monday afternoon at Fair Funeral Home for anyone who is unable to attend the service or visitation.

Franklin was born March 29, 1937 in Leaksville, NC, to the late Troy F. Warf, Sr., and Janice Murray Warf. He attended Spray Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Edwards Military Academy in Salemburg, NC, and served three years in the US ARMY. Franklin worked at Air Products in Reidsville until his retirement. Franklin enjoyed gardening and cutting wood. He loved traveling, especially fishing in Alaska.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Frances Wright Warf, son, Frank Warf and wife, Becky, and brother-in-law Jimmy Wright and wife, Barbara. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his sisters, Vilma Ward (Gene), Norene Pulliam (Obb), and Rita Green (Jerry).
