Tony Adams

Tony Lee Adams, 88 of Eden, passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at his home.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 2pm Thursday, February 6, 2025 at Dan View Cemetery in Eden. The family will receive friends upon arrival at the cemetery.

Tony was born July 16, 1936 in Rockingham County, North Carolina, to the late Claude Adams and Pearl Moore Adams. He served his country in the U.S. Navy. Tony worked as an AD Manager for the Martinsville Bulletin until his retirement. He was an avid Carolina Tarheels fan. Tony loved spending his time “porch sitting”.

Surviving are his nieces, Debbie Hurd of Stoneville, Kathy Carter (Herbert) of Pelham, Vicky Coleman (O.T.) of Eden; nephew, James Hill of Stoneville; special friend, Todd Byrd of Eden.

In addition to his parents, Tony is preceded in death by his brother, Curtis Adams, and sister, Estelle Hill.
