Tommy Joe Wilson

Tommy Joe Wilson, 56, of 108 Neal Street in Reidsville, passed away Monday morning, January 13, 2014, at Kindred Hospital in Greensboro.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 2 PM on Friday, January 17, at Evergreen Memory Gardens in Reidsville.

Mr. Wilson was born March 27, 1957 in Rockingham County. He was the son of the late Willie P. and Mildred Southard Wilson. Mr. Wilson was formerly employed by R. W. Billingsley Plumbing and Adams Electric.

He is survived by his daughter, Michelle Wilson Bailey and husband, Larry of Burlington; granddaughter, Jordan Wilson; brothers, Jerry Southard and wife, Linda of Reidsville, Raymond Wilson and wife, Diane of Ruffin, Mike Wilson of Reidsville and Jimmy Wilson of Eden; sisters, Elaine Stone and husband, Doug, JoAnn Wray and husband, Cecil, and Colene Howard and husband, Roy, all of Reidsville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Paul Ray Wilson, Curtis Wilson and Linda Wilson Southard.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the graveside and other times at the home of Jerry and Linda Southard, 551 Drum Road in Reidsville.
