Tina Renee Burns

Tina Renee Burns, 63 of Eden, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, September 16, 2026 at her home.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, September 19, 2026 at 2pm at Victory Baptist Church in Eden. Visitation will be held Friday, September 18, 2026 from 5-7pm at Victory Baptist Church.

Tina was born January 12, 1963 in Rockingham County, North Carolina. She was a graduate of Rockingham Senior High School. Tina also attended Davidson County Community College. Tina was a faithful member of Victory Baptist Church. She worked at Dan River Mills in Danville, Virginia, and then at Pelican Health Nursing Center as a health unit coordinator in the laundry division.

Tina was a devoted mother and grandmother to her sons, Dustun McGregor and wife Sarah, Cody McGregor; grandchildren, Emma, Chloee, and Jaxson McGregor; and sister and aunt to her brother, Tex R. Burns, Jr, and his daughters, Krystal and Jamie; and a faithful servant of Jesus Christ.

Tina is preceded in death by her grandma, Della Gibson; her mother, Janice Gibson Burns; and brothers, Anthony O. Burns and Timothy D. Burns.

In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, or to Ancora Compassionate Care, PO Box 281, Wentworth, NC 27375 are encouraged.
