Timothy Lynn Shockley

Timothy Lynn Shockley, 62, of 417 Wedgewood Ct, Eden, passed away on November 2nd, 2021, at his home.

A funeral service will be held Friday, November 5th, at 2pm, with visitation 1 hour prior to service, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel in Eden with a burial to follow at Ridgeview Memorial Gardens.

Tim was born on November 6th, 1958, to the late Oliver “Coy” Shockley and Peggy Shockley-East.  He worked as a pipefitter for Morgan Mechanical. Tim enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, and skiing on the lake.  His favorite Nascar driver was Bill Elliot, and he liked watching NHRA drag racing, too.  He loved listening to his record player and dancing in the living room.

He is survived by his wife, Melody Hunt Shockley, of the home; daughter, Rosemary Lynn Shockley of Greensboro; son, James Brian Shockley of Eden; furry companion, Waffles; sister, Sherry (Ricki) Bateman of Eden; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Timothy is preceded in death by his brother, Bob Shockley, and sister, Teri Boothe.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mental Health Awareness.
