Timothy E. Carter

February 6, 1967 — March 9, 2020

Timothy E. Carter, 53, of 1537 Bethlehem Church Road in Reidsville, passed away Monday afternoon, March 9, 2020, at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro.

A celebration of life service will be held Monday, March 16, 2020 at Charity Baptist Church in Eden.  The family will receive friends at the church from 5-6pm with the service starting at 6pm.

Tim was born February 6, 1967 in Rockingham County, NC.  He was employed by Shane Manuel Bail Bonds in Wentworth.  He was a devoted motorcycle rider and in April 2018, Tim checked off an item on his Bucket List when he, his father, and his cousin, Ralph Harvey, made a motorcycle trip to Alabama to visit his Aunt Joanne. Many other items on his Bucket List had been achieved with his fiancée Mechelle. He was of the Baptist faith. 

He is survived by his daughter, Jessica Carter of Eden; son, Pete Carter of Eden; mother, Faye Wilson Carter of Eden;  four step-children, Mellonie Irvine, Timmy Hooker, Ryan Hooker, and Dustin Hooker, all of Eden; five grandchildren, David and Christopher Mundy and Cassius and Charlotte Carter and Cory Hooker;  seven step-grandchildren;  his fiancée, Mechelle Biggs of the home;  mother of his children, Carol H. Carter of Eden;  and special friends, Shane Manuel,William Adkins, Sammy Vernon, Josh Patterson, and Dennis Moore.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas E. Carter, Jr.

The family is requesting any motorcyclist or antique car drivers, please drive it to the service to show your love.
