Thomas "Tommy" Henry Wood

Thomas "Tommy" Henry Wood, 46, passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2014, at Morehead Memorial Hospital.

A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, April 19, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Danview Cemetery.

Tommy was born September 15, 1967 in Rockingham County, the son of the late Henry Nash Wood and Anna Coleman Wood. He was a member of Reidsville Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Angie Duggins Wood, of the home; children, David Wood and wife, Jessica of Stoneville, Anna Wood and fiance', Bobby Haizlip, Nettie Wood and fiance', John Young, both of Eden; four grandchildren, Trevor, Michael, Jason, and Brianna; sister, Kathy Wilson and husband, Dewey of Reidsville; brother, Mark Wood and wife, Brandie, also of Reidsville; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends and family, Carolyn Larson, Kevin and Daryl Duggins, Janee, Bryson, and Shayland.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Guy Wood; sister, Bonnie Lynn Wood; and three brothers, Tommy Lynn Wood, Robert Michael Wood, and Ronald Steven Wood.

The family will receive friends Friday evening, 6 - 8 PM, at Fair Funeral Home and other times at 1034 Sharp Avenue in Eden.
