Thomas Michael "Mike" Hayden

Thomas Michael "Mike" Hayden, 58, passed away March 1, 2010 in St. Paul Hospital, Norfolk, VA. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Norfolk, VA. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive, is handling the arrangements. Mike was born December 11, 1951 in Rockingham County, NC. He was employed with Walmart and was an avid Redskins fan. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Janet Hayden; his mother, Lois Quesinberry of Eden; two brothers, Robert Hayden and wife, Diane and Joe Hayden, all of Eden; his mother-in-law, Florence Bozewriez; many nieces and nephews. Also surviving are his two dogs, Skoshi and Boomer. Mr. Hayden was preceded in death by his father, George Hayden; brother, Wayne Slaughter; sister, Beverly Jean Peters; grandparents, Elisha and Eliza Slaughter and George and Myrtle Hayden; and his father-in-law, John Bozewriez.
