Terry Kaye Light

Terry Kaye Light, 62, of 328 Jackson Street in Eden, passed away early Monday morning, April 1, 2019, at her home.

A funeral service will be held at 3 PM on Wednesday, April 3, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Palestine Methodist Church Cemetery on Ellisboro Road in Stokesdale.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service (2 - 3 PM) at Fair Funeral Home.

A native of Rockingham County, NC, Terry was born August 7, 1956 to the late Jack Arlo Light and Nancy Cayton Light.  She was a graduate of Appalachian State University and was a Deputy Clerk for the Rockingham County Clerk of Court, Estates Division.  

She is survived by her step-daughter, Wendy Smith of Stoneville;  niece, Katie L. Stentz (Mike) of Tifton, GA;  nephew, Steven A. Light (Cara)  of Hampton, VA and Christopher Glenn Light of Kinston;  two great-nephews;  three great-nieces;  sister-in-law and loving caregiver, Doris Light of Kinston;  her beloved dog, Jackson;  along with cousins and many special friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Steven Anthony "Tony" Light.
