Teresa Kay Tilley Chavis

Teresa Kay Tilley Chavis, 53, of 1440 Maryland Avenue in Eden,  passed away Monday night, June 25, 2018, at Annie Penn Hospital.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, 6 - 8 PM, at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the home of her brother, 903 Tenth Street in Eden.  A private graveside service will be held at Overlook Cemetery on Friday.

A native of Rockingham County, Teresa was born November 7, 1964.  She loved being a mother to her two daughters and enjoyed her grandchildren.  Teresa was an animal lover as well.    

She is survived by her daughters, Amanda Bunting and husband, Scott and Debra Brown and husband, Alan, both of Asheboro;  seven grandchildren, Ariel Phillips, Braxton Emerson, Brayden Emerson, Tyler Brown, Bryce Brown, Kayley Brown and Karley Brown;  mother, Brenda Kay Eanes;  brothers, Walter Lee Tilley, John Pulliam, Darryl Tilley, Gary Tilley, and Scottie Eanes;  and sister, Lisa Emerson.

Teresa was preceded in death by her father, Tony Lee Tilley.
