Teresa Gilley Mitchell

Teresa Gilley Mitchell, loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother, 57, of 725 Caleb Street in Eden, passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2017.

A graveside service will be held at 2 PM on Friday, May 19, at Ridgeview Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends Thursday evening, 6 - 8 PM, at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the residence.

Teresa was born September 14, 1959 in Leaksville, NC, to the late Franklin "Whitey" Gilley and Katherine Burgess Gilley.  She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and enjoyed going to the beach.

She is survived by her husband, Ricky of the home;  three sons, Brandon Mitchell and fiancee', Jennifer, Bradley Mitchell and wife, Stacie, and Brent Mitchell and fiancee', Carley, all of Eden;  three grandchildren, Colby, Jayse, and Aubree;  brother, Kevin Gilley and girlfriend, Susan Moore;  mother-in-law, Sallie Mitchell;  sisters-in-law, Debbie East and Margaret Corum;  and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Curtis Mitchell and sister-in-law, Sandra Johnson.
