Teresa Barnes Cox

Teresa Barnes Cox, age 63 of 11841 NC Hwy 87, Eden, NC passed away on Friday September 21, 2018 at her home.

A funeral service will be held 2 pm Monday at Dan River Wesleyan Church with burial to follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends on Sunday evening at Fair Funeral Home from 6 – 8 pm.

Teresa was born April 11, 1955 in Rockingham County. She was a graduate of Wentworth High School Class of 1974.  Teresa was owner and operator of Two & Half Women Cleaning Service for over 32 years.  She was a devoted Christian and was a member of Dan River Wesleyan Church. She was known as “Aunt Rea” to her family and her church family. Teresa enjoyed going fishing, cooking and was an animal lover.  Most of all she loved her family.

Surviving are husband of 42 years, Robert Darrel Cox of the home; daughters, Tasha Cox and Heather Cox of the home; mother, Geneva C. Barnes of Eden;  brother, Sammy Barnes and wife Jean of Madison; nephews Robbie Barnes of Durham, Nick and Nathan Joyce and Jared Thompson all of Madison, niece Dana Thompson of Mayodan

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Henry Barnes; niece, Chasta Hall
