Temple Denny Pulliam

Temple Denny Pulliam, 77 of 1421 Delaware Ave. Eden, passed away at her home on early Monday morning April 2, 2012.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday morning at Fair Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Ridgeview Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Pulliam was born January 17, 1935 in Draper, NC to the late Clyde and Dora Atkins Denny. During her early career, Temple worked at Spray Cotton Mills and Cumberland Mills. Later she assisted in the care of the elderly while finishing her cosmetology program. She retired from operating her own salon "Temple's Hair Affair" in 1995. Afterward she and her husband enjoyed traveling and spending time with their family. She was well loved by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by sister, Inez and brothers, Thomas and Sherill.

Surviving is her husband James Woodrow Pulliam of the home; daughters, Rhonda L. Laster and husband Don of Eden, Gina Clifton and fiance Adam Simpson; sons, David Pulliam and wife Melinda of Hope Mills, NC, Jimmy Pulliam and wife Mari Lou of Green Cove Springs, FL, and Timothy Pulliam of Eden, other siblings are Dwight, Charles, Larry and Carolyn; 12 grandchildren and 15, great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday evening at Fair Funeral Home from 6 -8 pm and other times at the home.
