Ted Payne

Ted Payne, 75, of Reidsville passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2024 at UNC Rockingham Health Care in Eden. 

A funeral service will be held at 2pm January 2, 2025 at Bethlehem Methodist Church, 1891 Bethlehem Church Rd, Reidsville, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Bethlehem Methodist Church Cemetery following the service.

Ted was born April 12, 1949 in Grundy, Virginia to the late Alex Payne and Susie Blankenship Payne. He was a member of Bethlehem Methodist Church. Ted was owner of an auto dealership until his retirement. 

Surviving are his daughters, Rebecca Payne Boyles (David) of McLeansville Kristi Payne Draughn (Chris) of Eden; grandchildren, Zachary Christopher Boyles, Hannah Elizabeth Boyles, Kendall Rae Draughn, Kylie Raye Draughn; five sisters; two brothers; numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Ted is preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Ann Bourne Payne; one sister; three brothers.
