Taunate Sames Gray

TaunaTe Sames Gray, 41, of Eden, passed on January 26, 2022, at her home.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of TaunaTe will be held at a later date.

TaunaTe was born August 25, 1980, in Beaumont, Texas, to William James Sames and Lucinda Kay Sames. She worked as a Pharmacy Technician at Wal-Mart in Reidsville after receiving her associate degree. She loved spending time with her family and friends.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Matthew Gray of the home; mother, Lucinda Kay (Cecil Snyder) of Ohio; siblings, Ginny Krone of Hamburg, NY, Pam White of Tuscaloosa, AL, Tanya Cartwright of Beaumont, TX, Bill Sames of Beaumont, TX, Diane Strong of Naples, FL, Kenneth Sames of Bellview, FL, Scott Sames of Redlands, CA, and Lujwana Cochran and husband Clint of Eden, NC.

TaunaTe is preceded in death by her father, William James Sames; husband, Michael Wayne Gray; and sister, Francina Williams.
