Tammy Roberts

Tammy Lynn Roberts, 57, passed away peacefully Thursday evening, June 25, 2020, in her daughter’s arms.  

Tammy was born August 18, 1962 in Burlington, NC, to Cora Wrenn and the late Jack Wrenn.  

She had a love for the beauty of God’s creation.  Among those her favorite place to Tammy was the beach.  She only needed to stand near the ocean to feel the power of the universe and closeness to the one who created it.  Her passion for the night sky had her going on adventures chasing the moon, catching the stars, and getting home in time to welcome the rising sun. 

She is survived by the love of her life of 33 years, Kevin Roberts, daughter April Cheryl (Shawn), daughter Tiffany Amber (Randall) and Gabriel Michael, and one granddaughter Leila Faith, who was the apple of her Gigi’s eye.  Also, surviving are her sisters and numerous nieces and nephews.  

The family will receive family and friends at the home on Sunday between 4 – 6 pm, at 712 Happy Home School Road in Ruffin to celebrate Tammy’s life. 

At Tammy’s request, a private graveside service will be held at a later date.
