Susan Wray Fretwell

Susan Wray Fretwell, 60, of 221 Settlement Loop Rd. Stoneville, NC passed away June 28, 2013 at her home. The funeral service will be held Monday July 1, 2013, 2pm at St. Lukes Episcopal Church, with entombment to follow in Overlook Mausoleum.

Mrs. Fretwell was born May 3, 1953 in Leaksville, NC to the late Charles H. Wray, Sr. and Ruby Cruise Wray. She was a member of St. Lukes Episcopal Church, and retired from Wachovia Bank & Trust after with 25 years of service. She also completed a management training program in Winston Salem through Wachovia Bank & Trust.

Surviving are her husband Edward "Ed" Martin Fretwell of the home; two daughters, Allyson Fretwell Roney and husband Michael of Burlington, NC, Teresa F. Peacock and husband Jeff of Mocksville; one brother Charles H. Wray Jr. of Eden, NC; five grandchildren Taylor Corum and Mykenzie Roney, Dustin, Amanda, and Adam Peacock, and several neices and nephews.

The visitation will be held Sunday evening from 6 until 8pm at St. Lukes Episcopal Church, and at other times at the home. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Lukes Episcopal Church: 600 Morgan Rd. Eden, NC 27288.
