Susan Seal Dishmon

Rachel Susan Dishmon, 64, native of Eden, NC went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Thursday February 18, 2016.

A graduate of Morehead High School Class of 1969. She worked at Fieldcrest Mills and Pillowtex before receiving her teaching degree from Hyles Anderson College. She taught Kindergarten at Reidsville Baptist Church before retiring to Hammond, Indiana in 2013.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Kennth Dishmon, Sr. and parents, Gene and Alice Seal.

 

She is survived by her sons; Kenneth Dishmon, Jr. and Cameron Dishmon of the home in Hammond, Indiana; daughter Tish Morris and husband Steve of Eden; sons, David Dishmon and wife Cristina of Holladay, TN and Preston Dishmon of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Kristen Morris of Boone, NC, Kelly Morris Harris and husband Josh of Eden; great grandchild, Bentley Morris of Eden.

 

A memorial service will be held at Pleasant View Baptist Church on Meadow Road in Eden Saturday, February 27, 2016 at 2 pm. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church and other times at the home of her daughter Tish, 8361 NC Hwy 14, Eden.
