Susan Tiller Jenkins

Susan Tiller Jenkins, 81, passed away Monday, February 9, 2026, at her home at Cadence of Wake Forest.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm Monday, February 16, 2026, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Lawson Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12-1pm.

Susan was born on October 15, 1944, in Eden, North Carolina, to the late Paul Tiller and Claudine Hodges Tiller. She was a former member of Leaksville United Methodist Church. She worked for several years as a teller at Old Stone Bank and she later retired as Executive Secretary from BB&T with over twenty years of service. Susan enjoyed gardening, crocheting, and playing the piano. She loved cooking and was an avid watcher of Jeopardy and UNC athletics. She loved her dog, Baxter, and enjoyed spoiling him with her home cooked meals. After retirement, Susan loved being a full-time Nana to her four grandkids and taking annual trips to Nags Head.

Surviving are her daughter, Paula Pedersen; son, Chris Jenkins (Jennifer Hatley); son-in-law, Marc Pedersen; grandkids, Abigail Jenkins, Miller Jenkins, Claire Gossett (Bradley Gossett), Mason Pedersen; soon-to-be great-grandson, Jackson Marc Gossett, due in April.
