Shirley Myrtle Morris Stevens

Shirley Myrtle Morris Stevens, 84, passed away Friday, November 3rd at Annie Penn Hospital.

A private graveside service will be held. No visitation will be held, but a register will be located at Fair Funeral Home for friends and family to sign.

Shirley was born February 2, 1939 to the late Johnny Morris and Mabel Rakes Morris. Shirley was a member of the Meadow View Church in Eden. She worked at the Morehead Hospital Cafeteria as a cook.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 65 years, James of the home, son, Ricky Stevens of Eden, daughter’s Faye Cox of Summerfield, NC, Judy Morris (Billy) of Eden; son, Jimmy Stevens (Julie) of Draper; grandchildren, Brandon and Blake Stevens, Shea Plott (Joe), Braden Cox (Jennifer), Cole Colley, Kristin Colley, Cheyenne Stevens Tucker (Tito), Jamison Stevens and Dakota Stevens; great-grandchildren, Josh Plott and Miles Tucker, along with her special friend Greg Hinson.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Hall Morris and sister, Carolyn Morris
