Shirley Denny Meeks

Shirley Ann Denny Meeks, 86, passed away at home in South Boston, VA on January 19, 2025 after a long illness. 

A graveside service will be held at 2pm Saturday, January 25, 2025 at Ridgeview Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, from 1-1:45pm, at Fair Funeral Home.

She was born in Eden, NC to John and Pauline Denny. She graduated from Tri-City High School Eden, NC in 1957 and went on to have a long career in retail sales and management. Shirley retired in 2005 to enjoy her garden, travel, and family. 

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Robert, her three daughters Donna (David) Christensen, Bobbie Morin, Ann (Tom) Person, seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, her brothers Harold and Norman Denny, and her sister Janet Lovell.
