Shirley Hall Fuller

Mrs. Shirley Hall Land Fuller, 89, passed away peacefully Saturday, January 17, 2026, at her home, 257 Land Rd, Stoneville, surrounded by her loved ones.

A funeral service will be held at First Assembly of God Church in Eden, NC, Friday, January 23, 2026, at 2pm with visitation for family and friends one hour prior, from 1-2pm. Burial will be at Ridgeview Memorial Gardens.

Shirley was born in Rockingham County March 2, 1936, to the late Roscoe Hall and Suzie Thompson Hall. She was a retiree of Karastan Mill, Eden, NC. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, and a “very special” aunt. Shirley was a devout Christian with a great love for her church, Assembly of God, and church family. She was a lifetime servant for her Lord who took any opportunity to tell anyone she encountered about Jesus. Shirley will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Shirley is preceded in death by her parents, Roscoe and Suzie Hall; first husband and father of her children, James Alvis Land, Sr.; great-granddaughter, Haylee Land; brother, Roscoe “Buster” Hall; sisters, Betsy Craig and Doris Land; stepson, Jack Fuller.

Shirley is survived by her husband, Melvin Fuller; children, James Alvis Land, Jr. “Jimmy” (Doris), Barbara Land Roberts (Jay); stepdaughter, Connie Church (Elvis); grandchildren, Kenny, Jerry, Kevin, Jessie, and T.J.; step-grandchildren, Aaron, Ethan, Zachary, and Sarah; great-grandchildren, Michael, Levi, Dakota, Thomas, Woodlin, and Odette; step-great-grandchildren, Claude, Vadyn, and Victoria; great-great-grandchildren, Georgia, Wynonna, and Tony; a special “adopted daughter”, Debbie Dickson; special friends, Louise Paschal, Stacy Juba, and Margaret Watkins; multiple nephews and nieces.
