Shelby Lorinda White

Shelby Lorinda White, age 72 of 206 Home Creek Rd., Axton, VA passed away early Saturday August 23, 2014 at her home. There will be a graveside service Wednesday August 27th, 2pm at the Cole-McVay Family Cemetery located at the home place in Axton, VA.

Shelby was born November 29, 1941 in Axton, VA to the late Frank Clarke McVay and Wilmoth Cole McVay. She was a licensed CNA and worked for many years as a Home Health Care Nurse. She was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving her are her daughter; Sherrie Hawks and husband Tim of the home, two sons William David White, Jr. and wife Sally of Eden, NC and Warren Bruce White of Axton, VA, 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and numerous neices and nephews. She was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.
