Sheila Mae Travis Lawless, age 54, of 87 Farmbrook Road in Ridgeway, passed away early Thursday morning, February 28, 2019 at her home.

Sheila was born in Eden, N.C. on January 1, 1965 to Rebecca Ruth Griffin Travis and the late Daniel Delwood Travis.  She was a 1983 graduate from John Motley Morehead High School.  Sheila had worked for Henry County Plywood Company as an Inspector.  She was of the Christian faith.  Her love for her family was overflowing with love and care that never could be measured.   She was an avid animal lover, especially her faithful furry companion, Roxanne.  Sheila was known for her honesty and you always knew where you stood with her, which is a trait to be admired.  In past years she enjoyed traveling to the beach and enjoyed the calmness of the water.  Sheila lived life to the fullest, but most of all she loved her family very deeply.  She will be greatly missed by all that knew her, because she left great memories to her family and friends.

Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband of 32 years, Todd Lawless of the home; her daughter, Jessica Lawless Cobbler and husband, Ethan of Horse Pasture, VA; her mother, Rebecca Griffin Travis; sister, Angie Travis of Eden; brothers, Dean Travis and wife, Lynn  and Bubba Travis and wife, Deb all of Eden; sister-in-law, Shiann Baker of Eden; brothers-in-law, Junior Lawless and wife, Vickie and Lonnie Lawless and wife, Melissa all of Ridgeway, VA and Kelser Shough and wife, Jennifer of Eden; and a large extended family.

Sheila is preceded in death by her father, Daniel Delwood Travis.
