Shannon Lynn Boyd

Shannon Lynn Boyd, 51, of Ruffin, NC passed away in Eden on Friday February 21, 2020.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at 12 noon, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the memorial service from 11-12 noon and other times at 928 Harris Street, Eden.

She was born January 27, 1969 in Rockingham County.  Shannon was a graduate of Morehead High School, Class of 1987.  She loved spending time with family and friends.  Shannon especially loved children because she didn’t have any of her own.

She is survived by her parents, Larry Boyd, Sr. and Mary Biggs Boyd; brothers Joey Moore (Wendy Wilson), Larry Boyd, Jr. (Shannon), Brent Allen all of Eden and Bobby Ray Jones, Jr. of Greensboro; uncles David Biggs, Tommy Biggs and aunt Carol Craig; special niece Parker Moore; nephews, Landon Moore and Kuper Yeatts; a special friend Brenda Cayton and Shannon’s fiancé Danny Cayton.
