Shanna Michelle Grogan

Shanna Michelle Grogan, age 44, passed away on Thursday, November 11, 2021, at UNC Rockingham Hospital in Eden.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 14th at 3pm at Willis Memorial Baptist Church in Cascade, VA. Family and friends may gather at the home of Betty Emory at 1437 Farmbrook Road, Ridgeway, VA.  

Shanna was born on May 14, 1977 in Florence, South Carolina.  

Shanna loved spending time with her son, Gage, dancing, time at Smith Mountain Lake and being with friends and family.

Shanna is survived by son, Gage Grogan of Eden; mother, Betty Hopper Emory; brother, Tim Hopper of Penhook, VA; sisters, Kim Banks (Billy) of Stoneville and Danielle Soriano (Luis) of Union City, NJ; nieces, Taylor Arvelo (Kevin) of Greenville, NC, Tori Leonard (Jordan) of Reidsville, and Isabella Manuel of  New Jersey; nephews, Tripp Banks (Brandi) of Kernersville, Tanner Banks (Parker) and Teegan Banks of Stoneville, Austin Martinez, Alex Martinez and Christian Manuel of New Jersey.

Shanna is preceded in death by her grandparents, Clarice and Edward R. Hopper, Sr.;  uncle, Ray Hopper; aunts, Sandra Wilson and Connie McCraw.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Willis Memorial Baptist Church.
