Shana McClain Sanders, 29, passed away Monday morning, November 30, 2020, at UNC-Rockingham Health Care.

A funeral service will be held at El Bethel Presbyterian Church, Price Road in Eden, at 12 Noon on Thursday December 3rd, 2020 with burial to follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church (11 am – 12 Noon).  She will lie in repose on Wednesday, 12 Noon to 6 PM at Fair Funeral Home for those wishing to come by to pay their respects.

She was born on August 18, 1991 at Morehead Hospital in Eden, NC and was a graduate of Ledford High School.  Shana was the most selfless, kind, extraordinary mother that lived and breathed, for her two boys.  She was humble, quirky and strong-willed when she put her mind to things and showed us all how to love with kindness and true passion that will live on in her boys, as well as each of us.  Shana knew Jesus was her Lord and Savior and pushed her love for him on everyone she met.  She found happiness even through her pain as we all should.  She shared the last year of her life being surrounded by the love of her fiance’, Ted, and her family’s unconditional love.  Shana is now at peace.

She is survived by her mother, Janis Hopkins Wade (Jim) of Eden; sons, Brayden Cole and Camden Brady Anderson of Eden; fiancé- Ted Webster of Eden; father, Brent Sanders (Natosha Sanders) of Thomasville, NC; sisters, Cursty Mae Boober  (Zak) of Rockville, RI, Briana Marie Sentner of Eden; brother, Tanner Brock Sanders of Boone; grandmother, Marie Anderson of Eden; uncles, Jay Hopkins  (Tammy) of Ruffin, Jimmy Hopkins (Leigh) of Greensboro; aunt, Donna Hopkins of Eden; cousins, Justine Hopkins, Alan Hopkins, Joe Hopkins; nephews, Zaylen, Avrym, and Ezra; and her beloved furbaby, Oakley.

Shana was preceded in death by her grandfather Mac Anderson and Cousin John-Michael Blake Hopkins
