Serita Bee Jennings

Serita Bee Jennings, 55, of 341 Grady Road in Reidsville, passed away Sunday, June 22, 2014, at Hospice Home of Rockingham County in Wentworth.

A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, June 25, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will folllow in Woodlawn Cemetery.

A native of Rockingham County, Ms. Jennings was born March 4, 1959 to the late Howard and Malene Snow Jennings. She attended Reidsville Baptist Church. Serita worked for Martinsville Memorial Hospital for 17+ years and most recently as the Physical Therapy department manager.

She is survived by her daughter, Kim Walker and husband, Chris, of Spencer, VA; son, Posie Meadows, III and girlfriend, Jennifer DePriest of Eden; four grandchildren; sisters, Mary Williamson of Louisville, KY, Deb Carter and Teresa Pate and her husband, Billy of Cartersville, GA; brother, Howard Jennings, Jr. of Cartersville, GA; numerous nieces and nephews; and her significant other, John W. Carter.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening, 6 - 8 PM, at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
