Serenity McKayla East

Serenity McKayla East, 20, of Eden passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at Annie Penn Hospital in Reidsville.

A funeral service will be held at 2pm Monday, July 15, 2024 at Fair Funeral Home Chapel in Eden. Visitation will be held Sunday, July 14, 2024 from 4-6pm at Fair Funeral Home.

Serenity was born June 28, 2004 in Rockingham County, NC, to Shawn Steven East and Mattie Carter Brown. She worked at Eastside Home Improvements as a cleaner. She enjoyed crafting and spending time with family and friends.

Surviving are her mother, Mattie Carter Brown; brothers, Jeffrey Seals (Cierra) of Eden, Zachery Pulliam of Eden, Shawn Steven East, II (Amanda) of Eden, Jacob Timothy East (Maddie) of South Dakota; sister, Brittany Pope (Justin) of Ridgeway, VA; special uncles, Chris East of Eden and Ronald East, Jr. of Eden; aunt, Heather Felder (Korey) of Alabama; numerous nieces and nephews; grandparents, Mary Brannock of Eden, Peggy Thacker (Kenny) of Eden, Ronald East of Eden.

Serenity is preceded in death by her father, Shawn Steven East, and brother, Roger Lee Seals, III.
