Scott Thomas Vestal

Scott Thomas Vestal, 51, of Eden passed February 11, 2022, at his home.

A funeral service will be held 11am Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at Reidsville Christian Church, 2020 S Park Dr, Reidsville, NC 27320, with burial to follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Reidsville. A visitation will be held 5-7pm, Monday, February 14, 2022, at Fair Funeral Home in Eden, NC.

At Scott’s request, please plan to attend as yourself, informal or formal attire, as you are most comfortable.

Scott was born June 10, 1970, in Rockingham County, NC, to the late Bobby Woodrow Vestal and Patsy Burks Vestal. He was a graduate of Morehead High School, class of 1988, and attended RCC and GTCC, receiving a degree in Criminal Justice. He was a member of Reidsville Christian Church. Scott worked, most recently, as a Teacher Aide at Holmes Middle School in the EC department, working with children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. He loved watching Florida State football. Scott was a huge fan of the Miami Dolphins, Duke Basketball, and the Chicago Cubs. Scott had a very strong faith and a deep devotion to faith and family.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Renee Stanley Vestal of the home; son, Eli Thomas Vestal of Fraser, CO; step-daughters, Donna Smith and Andrea Smith, both of Stoneville.
