Sandra Stewart Morton

Sandra Stewart Morton, 70, of 4515 Price Road, passed away Friday, August 31, 2018 at her home. 

A funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Monday, September 3, 2018 at Fair Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Floyd Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service (1 – 2 pm) and other times at the home of James and Linda Stewart, 5120 Price Road.

Mrs. Morton was born in Rockingham County on July 17, 1948 to the late Robert Lee Stewart and Pauline Joyce Stewart.  She retired from Sara Lee in Eden, NC.  Sandra was of the Baptist faith and a member of Floyd Baptist Church.  She loved living life to the fullest but most of all she loved her family and especially her grandchildren.  Sandra will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

Sandra is survived by her daughter, Keelia Morton of Stoneville; grandson, Kaiden James Faircloth; sister, Becky Hopkins and husband, Glenn of Stoneville; brothers, Wayne Stewart and wife Ruby, James Stewart and wife, Linda and Mike Stewart all of Stoneville.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Wilborn Morton; granddaughter, Courtney Paige Faircloth; sister, Cathy Isley and two brothers, Bobby and Paul Stewart.

The family request that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Sandra’s memory to Friends of Eden Animal Rescue; 1027 Rhodes Road, Eden, NC  27288
