Sandra Marie Walker Chaney

Sandra Marie Walker Chaney, 65, of Eden, NC, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at Hospice Home of Rockingham County.

A memorial service will be held 3pm, Saturday, April 9, 2022, at Osborne Baptist Church in Eden, NC. A visitation will be held for 1 hour prior to the service, 2pm-3pm, at Osborne Baptist Church.

Sandra was born December 19, 1956, in Rockingham County, NC, to the late Carl Donald Walker and Shirley Owens Walker. She was a graduate of Morehead High School in Eden. Sandra was a member of, and dedicated to, Osborne Baptist Church in Eden. She worked as manager of the One Way Café at Osborne Baptist Church until her retirement in 2019. She loved her family dearly.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Jerry M Chaney of the home; daughter, Jaime Evans Wade of Eden; stepson, Neil Chaney (Tracy) of Burlington; granddaughters, Madison Mark Wade and Madilyn Marie Wade, both of Eden; mother, Shirley Walker Booth (Ronnie); brother, Darrell Wade Walker; sisters, Donna Lynn Walker and Melissa Walker Newman (Robert).

In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her son, Mark Anthony Evans; brother, Donald Carl Walker.
