Sandra Faye Lewis

Sandra Faye Palmer Lewis, 75 of Ridgeway, passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at Forsyth Baptist Hospital in Winston Salem, NC.

A funeral service will be held at 10am on Monday, June 22, 2026 at Fair Funeral Home Chapel in Eden with burial to follow at Overlook Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday, June 21, 2026 from 4-6pm.

Sandra was born April 30, 1951 to the late Everett Otto Palmer and Carol Helen Fisher Palmer. She was co-owner and worked at J and S Landscaping for many years. She was a Sunday School teacher and choir member at Willis Memorial Church and later at Crossroads Baptist Church. She was very involved in her church and also played the piano there. Sandra loved gardening and canning and enjoyed watching cooking shows. She was an avid baseball fan, with Washington Nationals being her favorite team. Sandra was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.

Surviving are her husband, Jeremiah Lewis; daughter, Jennifer Van Houten (Mike); stepdaughter, Lori Lewis; stepson, Joseph Lewis; granddaughter, Mackenzie Van Houten; two step-granddaughters; three step-grandsons; and brother, Vernie Palmer (Mary Ann).

In addition to her parents, Sandra is preceded in death by her brothers, William “Bill” Joseph Palmer and Otto Daniel Palmer.
